Mark Anthony Puckett, also known as Mark T. Anthony, previously volunteered with the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) in a limited, non-employee capacity. At his request, he was permitted to assist with business development on a strictly voluntary basis. It is important to note that Mr. Puckett was never employed by NIA, nor was he ever appointed as an Intelligence Officer or recognized as a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor by our agency.
During a public event held in Florida, Mr. Puckett requested a business card or identification to represent NIA in his voluntary capacity. Given the temporary and limited nature of his involvement, he was issued a temporary digital event ID, intended solely for use during that specific engagement.
Without authorization from NIA leadership, Mr. Puckett printed the digital ID, laminated it, and placed it in a generic ID card holder—actions that directly violated our internal protocols. Official NIA credentials are produced in a secure facility and include multiple authentication features, such as:
-Security holograms
-Biometric scanning magnetic strips
-Personal identifiable information
-Durable PVC card stock
-Issuance alongside a metal badge and credential/document holder
Following the aforementioned event, Mr. Puckett was observed misrepresenting himself at a subsequent gathering. He was seen displaying unauthorized credentials and falsely identifying himself as an NIA Intelligence Officer and a DoD contractor. This misrepresentation was in direct violation of our professional standards and prompted his immediate dismissal from all association with NIA. Subsequently, a reputable donor involved in counter-child/sex trafficking initiatives reported that Mr. Puckett had contacted them, sharing a digital copy of the unauthorized credential in an attempt to solicit donations and validate his standing with NIA. Fortunately, our team was able to intervene swiftly and contain the situation.
Important Notice: Mr. Puckett is still believed to be in possession of the unauthorized and counterfeit NIA credential. If you are presented with such an ID, do not accept it at face value. We strongly encourage you to: Verify the ID's authenticity by checking for holographic and biometric features. Immediately contact NIA personnel to confirm the legitimacy of any claims made.
It has also come to our attention that Mr. Puckett has been disseminating false and potentially dangerous narratives, including attempts to doxx active state and federal law enforcement intelligence officers, thereby jeopardizing their safety, their family's safety, and the integrity of ongoing operations.
The National Intelligence Agency takes these matters with the utmost seriousness and is committed to upholding the highest standards of conduct, security, and transparency.
For verification or to report any concerns related to this matter, please contact authorized NIA representatives directly.
